What Other Brothers Say

How Past Retreats Have Changed Brothers' Lives

What You Will Experience During a MasterMan Retreat

We're not bringing you out just to talk. These days are built to work on your salah, your nafs, your leadership, and your body – all at once.

Salah & Quran

Slow, focused prayers in congregation.

Practical teaching on presence (khushūʿ) and how to carry that back home.

Space to make real tawbah and commitments without distraction.

Live Expert Sessions

Sessions about marriage, mental health, fatherhood, and responsibility.

Guidance on how to lead at home with mercy and firmness, not fear or passivity.

You'll learn how to be the leader you always wanted to be inshaAllah.

Physical Challenge

Physical challenges that remind you you're capable of more than your comfort.

Training and outdoor work that build courage, grit, and trust between brothers.

Brotherhood

Most men have never had a single brother

who truly knows them. You'll leave with several.

Before You Continue

This Retreat Is for a Very Specific Type

Be honest with both columns. The right man recognises himself immediately.

This Is For You If…

✓ You're a Muslim man (21+) who prays, works, provides – but inside you know you can be more.

✓ You feel your salah has become a tick-box, your anger or distance is hurting your home, and you're tired of doing this alone.

✓ You want real brothers who will hold you to a higher standard, not just motivate you for a weekend.

✓ You're willing to be uncomfortable, honest, and held accountable for 4 days and beyond.

This Is NOT For You If…

✕ You just want an Islamic getaway or some hype and motivation.

✕ You want comfort more than you want growth.

✕ You're looking for therapy or clinical treatment – this is coaching/mentorship, not clinical care.

✕ You're not prepared to invest time, energy, and money in changing over the next months.

This Is Not a Typical Retreat

This is not your typical recreational retreat experience. MasterMan retreats are intentionally designed to help men grow in prophetic faith, fitness, and brotherhood. They are meant to be a challenging and transformative experience. Because of the intimate nature of the retreat and the cabin setting, space is limited and registration will be capped to ensure a meaningful and high-quality experience for every participant.

The MasterMan Summer 2026 Retreat, hosted by Shaykh Abdullah Oduro, will take place in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, near the beautiful Smoky Mountains. Over four days, brothers will come together for physical training, prayer, learning, Qur'an recitation, reflection, brotherhood, and outdoor experiences in the Smoky Mountains, including water activities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where and when is the retreat?

Location: Pigeon Forge, TN (Near the Smoky Mountains)
Dates: Thursday, June 4 - Sunday, June 7, 2026

How much does it cost?

There are several options depending on your room type. Brothers invest between $1,199–$2,199 for the retreat.

What's included?

All lodging, meals, in-retreat activities, teaching, and local transport from the meeting point. Flights are separate. You'll get a full packing list and schedule overview once you're in.

Do I have to be very fit?

You need a basic level of health and willingness to be challenged. This is not a military bootcamp, but we will push you physically. You won't be shamed for your starting point — you will be pushed to give your best.

Is this therapy?

No. This is a spiritually grounded performance and leadership retreat for Muslim men. It is not a replacement for therapy or medical care. If you have serious mental health or addiction issues, please seek appropriate clinical help first.

Can I come if I'm a new Muslim or returning after a long time away?

Yes, as long as you are serious about changing and ready to be held to a higher standard. On your call we'll help you see if the retreat is the right next step for where you are now.

My wife is worried. How do I handle that?

Totally normal. We encourage you to be open with her about why you want to come and what you hope to change. We can also send her an information page or answer her questions directly so she feels safe about where you're going and who you'll be with.
